Zack and Clarke two of the sweetest people that we had the pleasure of photographing. They were one our first couples in a new area; Frederick, MD. They booked with us right at the beginning of covid, but we had to wait until things let up a lil bit to do their engagement session.
These two couldn’t wait to get married so they had small intimate ceremony back in May, but they still wanted to celebrate with friends and family. Family is big to them. Her good friend from Colorado flew in just to do her make-up and friend of the family did all of the decor. It was truly a family affair. Most couples get a lil nervous right before they say “I Do”, but not these two.
This beautiful couple decided to take us on the offer to do a morning after session bright and early at the Kennedy Center. Let’s just say it was magical for them and for us too. There are many benefits to doing a morning after session such as
Who doesn’t like getting dressed up again? As newly weds doing a session like this allows you to relive the moments of the day before. Most couples barely remember anything from their wedding night because it’s like a blur. After the “I Do’s” it’s party time. Time flies when you’re having FUN!!
Time of the year. During the summer it can very hot and humid so to avoid make-up running and hair touch ups this would be another reason why we offer this. We find that shooting in the morning makes our couples feel more relaxed and more enthusiastic about their session.

There are three things that people remember most about photographers. The work they produce, how the work makes them feel, and how they felt during the session. As photographers we feel like it’s not just our responsibility to create beautiful images, but to help create beautiful memories that last a lifetime.
